Cleaning For A Reason
Their mission is to give the gift of free house cleaning to women undergoing treatment for any type of cancer. The service is provided free of charge through one of their 1200+ cleaning partners. Since 2006, services have been provided to over 30,200 women – valued at over $10,000,000.

World Ovarian Cancer Day, MAY 8
The first World Ovarian Cancer Day took place May 8th, 2013. It is dedicated to creating and raising awareness about ovarian cancer, the women’s cancer with the lowest survival rate for which there is little awareness and no cure. On this day, ovarian cancer awareness organizations from across the world worked together with a singular focus and message for ovarian cancer and its symptoms.


Ovarian Cancer Day of Silence, April 11
The mission of the Ovarian Cancer Day of Silence is to raise awareness about the symptoms and risks of ovarian cancer and to encourage women to be their own health advocates. Participants take a vow of silence for the day, encouraging women to listen for the signs of ovarian cancer and honoring those who have been forever silenced by the disease.
